Product range
The
hereafter described standard types COMPACT and FIX are
designed preferably for pivate homes, therapy premises, sports clubs, homes for
old people, small enterprises etc. They need just the water pressure and no
electricity to work.
As an option complete granite
covers in various designs are available!
Special oxygenating equipment of
various flow capacities and options for industrial purposes are available on
request.
Connection to the water piping:
Required is a separate shut-valve with an outlet of 3/8" outer thread.
Type FIX is connected by means of a steel-reinforced hose to the
supply. Usually the device is mounted under the counter in a kitchen. In such
case it is necassary to drill a hole of 13 mm diameter into the counter plate to
fix the faucet. The device outlet is connected with the faucet by means of a
PTFE flexible tube of 8/6 mm diameter.
Type COMPACT is connected by means of PTFE flexible tube of 6/4 mm
diameter using an adapter to 3/8" supply. Usually it is necessary to drill
a hole of 6 mm into the counter plate if the device is located on the counter in
a kitchen.

The method of oxygen enrichment used
in Oxy-Vital -
equipment is based on diffusion.
The
contact area of water and oxygen is almost 2 m2. In the natur,
e.g. in a waterfall, the many water drops also adsorb oxygen through a larger
surface.
Good natural spring water contains
maximum 13 mg oxygen / Liter. Depending on the treatment the domestic
water may contain just 4 - 10 mg (seldom) O2 / liter.
The
Oxy-Vital
– oxygenated water contains
60 - 90
mgO2/Liter auf.
The oxygen concentration depends on the water temperature and decreases with the
time as a part of the dissolved oxygen escapes.
The oxygen concentration may be
measured by an electronic tester.
If filled in bottles (e.g. PET) with a
tight cap, the oxygenated water keeps the dissolved oxygen during several weeks.
However plastic bottles are not completely tight and gases may slowly escape
through the pores in the material.
Glass bottles are better.
Carbon acid in bottled waters prevents
from growing bacteria, but drives the dissolved oxygen away from the water.
Oxy-Vital
-
oxygenating devices are equipped with a high-tech 10"
filter cartridge combining
activated carbon
& capillary
membranes, cleaning the
incomming water prior to the oxygenation process.
The
sintered carbon outer shell with a pore size of 0,5 mm
removes sediments, turbidity, oxidized iron, larger microorganisms and
almost all chlorine, bad tastes and odors, herbizides, pestizides, fungizides,
insektizides, drug residuals (espec. steroid hormons), as well as lead.
The inner cartridge of capillary membranes
has pores of only 0,15 mm (absolute!).
Due to the fact that the size of the smallest bacteria is 0,3 mm,
they
obviously cannot pass the filter cartridge. The microscope pictures on the
right shows the pores in relation to the bacteria.
This filter system has been tested and certified by the leading and
independent institutions in the U.S.A ., England, Kanada and Germany.
There
is no need of a UV-dissinfection even in the industrial equipment.
The
filtered water flows then to the oxygenating chamber. As
an option it is possible to lead the filtered water also to a separate faucet.
